About this project
Bridgepoint Health is a modern Toronto Hospital opened in the spring of 2013. Designed by Diamond & Schmitt in collaboration with HDR and Stantec, it incorporates two large green roof areas. A 5,500 sq ft accessible area on the 10th floor is part of a publicly accessible garden named after Harold Ballard, the former owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The garden serves as a relaxation area for staff an patients alike. During the summer months it is also the home of an extensive horticultural therapy program.
